Hi! I am Marco Monteros -The Artist Behind the Lens

I have called London home for the past 24 years. My relationship with visual storytelling began long before I picked up a camera; for years, my world was defined by pencils, brushes, and the canvas. As a former art teacher and painter, I learned to see the world through the principles of light, shadow, and anatomy. Today, photography is my medium, but that “painterly” eye remains the foundation of everything I do.

For the past few years, I have combined this artistic background with a unique perspective gained from my time in the London security sector. That role taught me the discipline of observation—the ability to wait, to watch, and to anticipate a moment before it happens.

My life and work are built on movement. As an experienced continental motorcycle traveler, I use my bike to navigate the city. This allows me to be anywhere in London at a moment’s notice, finding the hidden angles and urban stories that others miss while stuck in traffic.

As a father, I understand that time moves quickly and that a single photograph is often the only way to hold onto a legacy. Whether I am documenting the raw, cinematic energy of London’s streets or the intimate emotions of a wedding day, I approach every frame with the precision of a watchman and the soul of an artist.

I don’t just capture what is there; I capture how it feels to be a part of this city.

I am proud to offer my services in English, Spanish (my native tongue), and French. Communication is the key to great photography, and I love being able to connect with my clients in the language they feel most comfortable with, whether we are on the streets of London or at a destination wedding abroad.
